Complete a background check
A U.S. background-screening provider checks criminal records, sex-offender registries, and identity fraud indicators. You'll see clear disclosures and a way to dispute anything inaccurate.

Build your profile
Share your daily routine, interests, sleep schedule, pets, and what you're hoping for in a household. Add photos of yourself - and of the room, if you're hosting.

Answer the compatibility questionnaire
About 40 short questions on cleanliness, guests, cooking, noise, quiet hours, and companionship. Skip anything you'd rather not share.

Review your matches
You'll see a compatibility score with a plain-language explanation - why you fit, and what to talk about first.

Message and meet safely
Start with in-app messages, then a video introduction. Meet in person in a public place. Bring a family member if you'd like.

Sign a written agreement
Our guided agreement builder documents rent, deposit, utilities, house rules, and any agreed household contributions. You can print it or e-sign.
